When I started to obey God’s call in pioneering campuses in Manila (Ubelt), I was able to witness changed lives and spiritual movement ongoing from one campus to another. As I follow the Lord, it’s a great joy to see how the Lord is using my life and our ministry to fulfill what He have promised to me in His word when He called me--to be fishers of men in Manila particularly in Intramuros and U-belt area.
We started everything together in prayer and have a couple of strategies to find key contacts in opening new campuses. Soon we found able students who would want to help reach their campuses with the Gospel, we further equip them so that they can better share Christ and disciple others. Through all these strategies, God worked in the life of the students He brought our way. In Lyceum, we are seeing an ongoing spiritual movement through which we’ve just started our ministry there last August 2010 through one key contact (Anshe). Right now, I praise God for how God multiplied her life to other students from Lyceum who are also ready to follow Christ and be His disciple. God is good in answering our prayers to see Anshe’s disciples having the desire to grow more in the Lord. And also, as Anshe and I started to pray for her campus, God blessed us with one more key-contact who is very influential and a good student leader in campus-- MJ! What a privilege God gave him to our ministry. He is a 2nd year student who is now the President of the Lyceum Central Student Government (LYCESGO).MJ is now also leading bible study groups in Lyceum. He also express the desire to make Campus Crusade for Christ be accredited next sem and also sharing his desire to plan a bible study groups with his co-student officers in his campus. Currently we have for about 25 students who are involve and having bible study in Lyceum. There is really hope in the lives of each students everywhere! Lyceum is just one of God’s amazing example of a glimpse of a God’s grace of seeing campus movement!
