My Story

Changing others as I was changed

Life had no meaning until I came to know Jesus as my personal Lord and Saviour through the help of a Korean Missionary from Campus Crusade for Christ. Since then, God’s amazing grace and abounding love have overflown to me. He made me witness things I did not know. I enjoyed life, learning how to love Him and to depend on Him with every detail of my life.

As young in the faith as I was, great challenges came my way. I was the first convert in the family and God birthed in me a deep longing to have everyone in my family to know Jesus personally. I was just a 3-months old Christian when my father died because of a territorial dispute against the New People's Army (NPA). He was the sole provider for our family and I have 4 siblings who were still studying. I was then a sophomore in college and could not do anything to help my family.

At a young age of 17, I learned how to depend totally on the Lord. I felt security, love and peace in His arms. It was a great miracle that God allowed me to be a great witness to my family. By His grace, everyone in my family came to receive Christ in 2007 and 2008! Amazingly, some of them are also sharing Jesus to their friends and classmates. Right now, my sister is CCC Junior Core leader in her university, and multiplying in the lives of other students, too!.

By His love and grace, I finished BS-Accountancy on time in 2009. I am currently serving as a full-time intern missionary with Philippine Campus Crusade for Christ. As much as He has changed mine, I am overjoyed to see lives changing through His unfailing love. God is blessing me with several multiplying and faithful disciples who are changing the face of the universities in Manila. He has called me to go and make disciples of ALL NATIONS (Matthew 2819)! He is using me to as a witness to my own Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria... and now, He is calling me to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).

I’m excited to witness more people be changed like I was. I want to be used by the Lord even more. I will keep on obeying Him no matter what it takes! I am saying to my Heavenly Father, Here I am Lord, Send me (Isaiah 6:8)!”.
